Carmichael UK is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client based in QLD. The project is a $400m infrastructure project starting in June.
The general scope with be re-measuring BOQ, compiling progress claims, assessing subcontractor progress claims, and assisting the commercial manager with the following:
- EOT claims, delay and disruption, preferably in the water infrastructure and/or civil, mech, elec construction sectors
- Compiling of documents
- Drafting variation and EOT positions
- Collating costs in support of matters
- Experience with Infrastructure contracts
- Identify, analyse and manage commercial risk
Key requirements for the role
- Experience in the civil construction/ infrastructure industry.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications - ideally a degree in Quantity Surveying
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
