Senior Project Engineer
Carmichael UK is looking for an experienced SPE to join their client based in Melbourne delivering on Rail infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience as a project-based engineer in the construction industry
- Construction induction training (CIT/ White Card)
- Rail Industry Worker card (RIW)
- Current drivers’ licence and own reliable vehicle
- Experience in project planning and delivery and managing subcontractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, record and monitor engineering and management plans for the project in consultation with the Construction Manager.
- Prepare a project budget and maintain monthly reporting.
- Identify and manage Risks & Opportunities
- Plan, procure, establish and install site amenities based on number of people on site
- Review and maintain on site all technical and safety procedures as required
- Inspect works, identify and instruct work groups on any potential material and/or workmanship non-conformance
