Civil Design Engineer (Mining or Renewable Energy Experience)
We're hiring a skilled Civil Design Engineer with expertise in mining or renewable energy projects for a prestigious global consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed engineering design and analysis for mining or renewable energy civil infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
- Create technical drawings and specifications to support construction and implementation of civil infrastructure systems.
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather necessary data for the design process.
- Utilize CAD software and engineering tools for accurate and precise design creation.
- Perform calculations, simulations, and modeling to assess feasibility and structural integrity.
- Provide technical support during construction, addressing design-related queries and challenges.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for effective communication and coordination.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in mining or renewable energy design engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience as a Civil Design Engineer in mining or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards in these industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Experience with site investigations and assessments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of sustainability principles and commitment to environmentally friendly design.
Preferred Skills:
