Our client is looking for a Project Engineer - Asphalt
Role location: Brisbane Qld

Important skills (with demonstrated experience):
- Construction management
- Project management
- Bituminous or concrete pavement constructions
- Manufacturing experience
- Technical understanding of laboratory based testing under construction conditions to strict timelines
Other important job role aspects:
- the role may involve travel around Australia (as the works dictates). The ability for you to be able to temporarily move around for works is important.
- the position is a senior role within the business that has time, cost, reporting and delivery demands (to all levels). Time and resource management are also important in this role to ensure that construction and other timelines are satisfied per the client's requirements and if not achievable, the development and establishment of suitable mechanisms to overcome.
- some works are completed in remote locations outside of offices and cities. This adds complexities such as long-lead times for people or equipment, scheduling and logistics, limitations of available resources.
- safety, security, quality and environment outcomes for all groups are another key aspects that must be managed.
