Project Engineer Role
Carmichael UK is looking for a Project Engineer who wants to work on a FIFO (fly in fly out) basis to join their client based in Queensland, Australia delivering on infrastructure projects.
Key requirements
- Civil Engineering degree
- 5 years’ experience as a project-based engineer in the construction industry.
- Construction induction training (CIT/ White Card)
- Experience in consultation with stakeholders and local communities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Project budgets and maintain ongoing monthly reporting requirements.
- Create and populate personnel and plant registers.
- Identify and manage Risks & Opportunities
- Undertake internal audits and maintain all site registers
- Tracking of costs and establishment of productivity measures
- Review drawings and scope requirements, raise RFI’s as required and maintain the RFI register
- Providing technical, administrative and HSEQS support to Project leads and Supervisors.
