We are a currently recruiting for a leading civil engineering consultancy based in Auckland, specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions.  We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee 2-3 projects in the Auckland region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Coordinate and manage all phases of project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Client Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, positive relationships.
    • Provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns promptly.
    • Ensure client requirements and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Manage project budgets and financial performance.
    • Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
    • Approve project expenditures and manage cost control processes.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee quality control measures.
    • Ensure all project deliverables meet technical specifications and client requirements.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Auckland
