As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing drilling activities and optimizing project interfaces with other disciplines such as service locating, civils, and reinstatement. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to effectively manage project timelines and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage drilling projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Utilize your expertise in horizontal drilling techniques to optimize drilling activities and enhance project efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including service locating, civils, and reinstatement to streamline project interfaces and maximize productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and challenges associated with drilling operations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and other project partners to ensure seamless execution of drilling activities.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of drilling processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role within the drilling industry.
- Extensive experience with horizontal drilling techniques and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of drilling processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize drilling activities and improve project efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
