Renewals Manager – Road Maintenance
Our client, a well known civil engineering contractor in New Zealand, are seeking an experienced Renewals Manager with a strong background in roading and project management in highway maintenance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of area-wide pavement treatments (AWPT), reseal renewals, asphalt paving, drainage, and line marking. This role requires strong project management skills, a proactive approach to planning and coordination, and the ability to manage key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams and design consultants to ensure solutions align with contract specifications.
- Support operational teams in delivering high-quality work that meets contractual requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting for all projects.
- Monitor project progress using advanced technologies.
- Manage risk, quality, and variation works, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree or NZCE in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience in roading, project delivery, or contract management.
- Strong understanding of the technical, contractual, and financial aspects of maintenance contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
