Job Title: Senior Project Engineer - Piling
Location: Brisbane
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer with specialized expertise in piling or ground engineering within the civil engineering sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading and managing piling projects, ensuring technical excellence and successful project delivery. Ideally you would have previously worked for a piling contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical planning, execution, and completion of piling projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of various piling methods, foundation design principles, and testing techniques to guide project success.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide engineering expertise in the development and review of project plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer with a focus on piling projects.
- Expertise in various piling methods, foundation design, and testing techniques.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, permitting processes, and compliance standards.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in project management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project scopes and timelines.
