Senior Project Manager - Water Civils

Location: Sydney

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a Main contractor as a Senior Project Manager in Water Civils.

Job Description: As a Senior Project Manager in Water Civils, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Civil water experience is crucial for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the water civils sector, delivering complex water infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of water civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and project management methodologies.
