Role Overview:
As a Civil Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of a wide range of civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet client expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage, and structural developments.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions and project feasibility studies.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Adhere to local regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative design practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in civil engineering projects, from design to execution.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is preferred or a willingness to obtain it.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practices.
