Job Title: Site Supervisor - Roads Construction
Location: Western Australia
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Site Supervisor. While roads experience is preferred, it is not essential, as we value candidates with strong construction supervisory skills and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing on-site activities, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Lead and coordinate construction activities, including subcontractor management and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact timelines or quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and support to on-site teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist in the implementation of quality control measures to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in construction projects.
- Knowledge of road construction processes is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, permitting processes, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate on-site activities effectively.
- Adaptability to changing project scopes and timelines.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction site supervision.
