Responsibilities:
- Develop and design structural engineering plans and specifications for a wide range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize your expertise in structural analysis software to assess the performance and stability of structures under different loading conditions.
- Collaborate closely with architects, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective coordination throughout the design process.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and propose remedial solutions.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive technical reports, including calculations, drawings, and recommendations, to communicate design concepts and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, codes, and standards, and integrate innovative techniques and technologies into design practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis, preferably with expertise in various materials, such as steel, concrete, and timber.
- Experience designing schools or hospitals
- Proficiency in using structural analysis and design software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
