We are seeking a skilled professional to join a Tier 1 company in Sydney. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing structures that will shape the world around us.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design structural engineering plans and specifications for a wide range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize your expertise in structural analysis software to assess the performance and stability of structures under different loading conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective coordination throughout the design process.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and propose remedial solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive technical reports, including calculations, drawings, and recommendations, to communicate design concepts and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, codes, and standards, and integrate innovative techniques and technologies into design practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in structural design and analysis, preferably with expertise in various materials, such as steel, concrete, and timber.
  • Experience designing schools or hospitals
  • Proficiency in using structural analysis and design software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Prior experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work.
